Thanksgiving Turkey Joannas
Joanna's Thanksgiving Turkey 1 14-16 pound Turkey Compound butter: 1 cup butter 2 tbsp rosemary 2 tbsp thyme 2 tbsp sage 2 tbsp parsely 2 cloves minced garlic Preheat oven to 425 degrees 1) Loosen skin at breast and thighs on turkey. Salt and pepper the cavity. 2) Rub compound butter under the skin on meat. place 3 tbsp of butter in the turkey cavity and 2 tbsp on outside of turkey. 3) Roast turkey for 30 minutes turn the oven down to 350 degrees and roast as per weight. Tent with foil if too quickly browning.
