Roasted Turkey

Whole Roasted Turkey

~ 10 lbs turkey
butter
salt + pepper

optional: 
stuffing herbs
carrots
onions
celery

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees

1) take all the bits out
Optional: stuff inside with herbs

2) butter coat outside with a brush

3) add to roasting pan
Optional: add carrots, onions, celery to the bottom of the roasting pan

4) cook in oven for 15 minutes per pound until middle of thigh internal temp is 175 degrees

5) remove from oven, let rest for 15-20 minutes before carving
