Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats (Bonnie's recipe)

Combine in a Tupperware equal parts:
Dry oatmeal
Any kind of milk (cow, soy, almond, etc)
Any kind of yogurt
(I usually use 1/3 cup each)

Add a sweetener to taste:
- Brown sugar
- Maple syrup
- Honey
- Agave syrup

Add other fun things, if you want:
- Peanut butter
- Chia seeds
- Cinnamon

Top with something:
- Jam
- Fresh fruit
- Frozen fruit
- Granola

Refrigerate overnight.

Bonnie’s tips:

- I like to make it in a mason jar and put fruit at the top and at the bottom. To do so, I just mix my other ingredients in a separate bowl and then layer them in the jar.

- If I’m feeling lazy, I put all the ingredients in the jar and just shake it up.

- You can make it in the AM and it will thicken while you are on the bus, but it won’t be quite as thick as letting it sit overnight.

- Sometimes I make it in a peanut butter jar when I’ve used up all the PB and there’s just stuff stuck to the sides of the jar.

- My current favorite combo is honey, cinnamon, chopped mango.
