Meatball Subs

Ingredients:

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4-6 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- sliced onions and peppers (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, and salt. Mix well.
3. Form meat mixture into 12-15 meatballs.
4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
5. Place hoagie rolls on a baking sheet and spread marinara sauce on each one.
6. Cut meatballs in half and place 2-3 halves on each roll.
7. Top meatballs with shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced onions and peppers (if desired).
8. Bake subs for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is lightly toasted.
9. Serve hot and enjoy!
