Lobster Mac And Cheese
Ingredients: - 1 pound of elbow macaroni - 1/2 cup butter - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 4 cups whole milk - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese - 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper - Salt and black pepper to taste - 2 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped - 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes until mixture is smooth and bubbly. 4. Gradually whisk in milk and continue to cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. 5. Add shredded cheddar and Gruyere cheeses, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. 6. Add cooked lobster meat to the sauce and stir well. 7. Mix cooked macaroni with the lobster cheese sauce in the saucepan. 8. Pour mac and cheese mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. 9. In a small bowl, mix together panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. 10. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture over the top of the lobster mac and cheese. 11. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. 12. Serve hot and enjoy!
