Kombucha First Ferment

Kombucha (first ferment)

6 cups black tea bags
1 1/2 cups starter + scoby
3/4 gal filtered water
1 cup sugar

1) Bring 2 cups water to a boil
Add tea bags, remove from heat
brew 10 minutes

2) Add sugar until completly dissolved

3) add to container, fill with the rest of the fitered water
leave room for culture - 3 inches

Let brew for 7-10 days, up to 21 days max.
