Homemade Biscuits

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup milk

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the cold butter pieces to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Slowly pour in the milk and mix until the dough comes together.
5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it is smooth.
6. Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass.
7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
8. Serve warm with butter and enjoy!
