Classic Meatloaf
Ingredients: 2 lbs ground beef 1 cup breadcrumbs 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup ketchup 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1/2 tsp dried parsley 1/4 cup ketchup, for topping Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and parsley. Mix until well combined. Transfer the meatloaf mixture to a loaf pan, and use your hands to shape it into a loaf. Spread about 1/4 cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. Bake for 75 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
