Chicken Soup

Chicken Soup (Nancy's recipe)

4-5 lb chicken cut up
3-4 carrots, sliced
3-4 stalks celery, sliced
1-2 onions, quartered
1 can chicken broth
1/2 jar chicken stock + soup base

1) Put all ingredients in large pan, cover with water.
Bring to a boil and simmer 1 1/2 - 2 hours.  
Skim any foam from top while cooking.

2) Drain broth, use in Matzo ball soup. 
You can eat all the chicken and veggies separately.
